Greetings! I was setting up synching directly to my Mac, but when I selected Switch Services to Appigo Sync, it pops up a warning message that ALL todos will be deleted from the device!!
Is that right? Or did you all mean that it deletes everything from the current sync service? I'm asking because I long ago stopped synching with Toodledo; in fact, I deleted all my todos there out of a privacy concern. In the meantime, I have scores of todos along with contexts and tags that I set up--and I hate to lose them all. (I've gone a little wild with that as my Palm todo app didn't have such features and I'm trying to figure out the best way of handling tasks.) So, what's a user to do? If Todo does delete everything from my IPT, will Appigo Sync know how to retrieve the todos from an iTunes sync backup? Should I sync to Toodledo first just to be on the safe side? (I'm hesitant to do that because of privacy concerns.) Is there a way of establishing a synch connection from Appigo Sync on my Mac and manually transfer over the todos; somehow bypassing the deletion step? I did read the FAQ yesterday, but I remain confused on the details on this and I don't want to lose lots of work! What have other peoples' experience been with synching? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Learn more about Todo, Notebook (notes available everywhere), and AccuFuel (fuel efficiency tracker) on Appigo's website: http://www.appigo.com/ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Appigo Todo" group.
