Did you unearth the completed tasks and delete them?

In other words, go into the settings and have it show completed
tasks. Then delete those and you should be back in business.

I'm just another end user like you, who tested ToDo Lite, and ran into
that same issue. It may be that they should add an explanatory note
when the limit of 7 is hit, or make the total limit 10, with a clear
upfront explanation that completed tasks count towards the 7.
(Perhaps they already do!)

Once I realized what was happening, I deleted the completed tasks and
returned to 7 items to play with. I experimented some more and was
impressed by the easy of use, elegance, and functionality. When I
also found that another end user had provided directions on how to
transfer the Palm to-dos to the app, I quickly purchased the full
app.

The app is quite excellent, truly. And the support here and via
direct e-mail is among the best I've found. Plus, they keep adding
features, many in response to user requests (e.g., direct synching
with Appigo Sync). The app is well worth the $10.
