I am using the Toodledo sync, not the iCal sync. I'm running Tiger (10.4) at home, so I don't think tasks will sync, only events. Have you tried Toodledo yet? It really is a great companion to Todo - The user interface has much more in common with Todo than iCal does, IMHO.
