I'm a recent convert from Things, mostly due to its lack of support for repeat tasks on the iPhone/iPod Touch. I'm pretty happy with Todo so far, but would very much appreciate the ability to easily hide "future" tasks, eg in the focus list. It's not enough to hide tasks with a future Due date, as this includes some currently active tasks (ie where the due date is simply a deadline). Toodledo has the concept of a start date which would fit the bill nicely. Of course they have an iphone app too, which seems to support the start date, but it is not as nice as Todo in various other ways.
I've browsed the forum and realise it has been asked for before, so I'm just adding a "me too" really. FWIW, I would much rather have a true "start date" function than a filter to not show tasks that have more than N days remaining (which has been suggested in the forum). The former seems functionally better and compatibility with toodledo would be good too.
