I disagree that a Project should never be recurring. In my mind, a Project is simply a task that requires several tasks to complete. Whether it is recurring or not is irrelevant to the definition.
Additionally, Todo syncs with both RTM and Toodledo. Toodledo certainly allows tasks with repeating subtasks, meaning that at this point, Todo is incompatible with Toodledo. I doubt this was the developer's intention. I suspect this is just an oversight that will be corrected.
