This happened to me this morning while making my shopping list. It does not happen when using the quick add (lightening bolt +) button, it happens when using the "+" button.
Open the checklist, click "+", enter item, save, repeat. Things disappear. If that doesn't work, my exact situation was: I had some items already in the list before I started adding this morning. The list is a repeating task. Some items were added with the quick button, some with the "+" button. Some items being added (and disappearing) were multi-line items - example: Pop 2.99 - Sobeys 2/5.99 - SDM (This is why I was using the + instead of the quick button - using the quick list only allows me to put in one line, so I have to go through the flyers and my list several times, once to add the items, again to find the prices/stores and edit all the items.) I could not determine a clear pattern to what was staying or disappearing, as I didn't notice right away that it was happening. The newer entries seemed to be the ones disappearing, but I had also done some rearranging and do not know if that has any impact on what it would replace. I think the item at the top of the list was being overwritten, but can't be sure and don't want to mess with it right now because I finally got everything in correctly.
