Thanks for taking the time to post your detailed steps. We have been able to
duplicate the issue and have fixed the issue which will be included in the
next Todo update. Below are the exact steps that will reproduce the issue
with a workaround provided below it:

Problem
- Checklist items get overridden

Steps to Reproduce
- Create a checklist
- Create a subtask
- Modify / edit the subtask
- If you then navigate back out into the checklist view and create a new
subtask item(s), the newly created subtask will continue to override the
last subtask item

Workaround
- After modifying a subtask, go completely out of the checklist view (ie go
back to your list view) and then come back into the checklist and add as
many items as you would like. So the key is that if you decide to modify a
subtask item, leave the checklist and come back into it if you decide to add
more subtask(s) if you do NOT want to see this overwrite issue.
