OK, I also live in the "focus" view most of the time. I use lists for
what a GTDer might call both projects and areas (finite and unbounded
groupings of related tasks) - in practice, many of my projects don't
generally end but just evolve over time - which means I have more than
20 of them. It would be handy to be able to re-order lists as we can
with tasks (hint hint). I sort on date then priority, and tasks with
low priority or due more than a day or two ahead are not shown in the
focus list. I use low priority for undated tasks that are not
currently active (generally this means they are dependent on other
things), this gets them out of the focus view. There is a bit of a
problem with this system for large tasks with a distant due date, I
would like to have support for start dates but the work-around is to
break things up into smaller tasks. Maybe this is good practice
anyway, something that takes more than 2 days is not really a task!

I only use two contexts, work and home, and generally filter on this
to reduce clutter and distraction. I don't use tags at all.

I don't use the new "project/subtask" feature as it is not helpful to
be shown the project name (and not the specific task) in the focus
view. I would very much appreciate this changing! I do have a couple
of checklists for repeated routine jobs (eg weekly shopping list).

I sync to toodledo, and this seemed an important feature in convincing
me to choose todo, but in fact I find I hardly use toodledo at all
now. I don't much like the web interface.
