Appigo's one of the best in terms of customer service and responsiveness, so yes, the "complaints" did sound harsh! AFAIK, it's a small operation and so patience is definitely a virtue.
They've been great in the past; timely releases; adding key features (many directly from user suggestions), and providing good communication on these boards. Plus, their apps are incredibly well designed, fast, intuitive to use, and they keep adding depth to ToDo without losing the pluses of simplicity and user-friendliness. Push notification is NOT an easy thing to add or it would already be here! (Plus, many other apps don't have it yet.) I'm enjoying OS 3 functionality now with Todo and Notebook-- just today, copied and pasted a library call number from Safari into both a Todo and a note. Appreciated that Appigo had them ready to go for that. Yes, information about forthcoming releases is useful (and Appigo has provided such). But keep in mind that talk is cheap-- some other companies promised all sorts of things for free in upcoming versions, then switched gears, released new apps under new names, and left many paid users high and dry. It's always best to buy an app for what it currently has and does, not for what one hopes it will have on some undetermined time schedule. Both Todo and Notebook are incredibly useful as they are now--and well worth it!
