All,

If you are running into syncing issues which are preventing you from
trusting the sync service as a reliable backup solution, you can use iTunes
to backup Todo and all of it's settings as described in the following FAQ:

http://appigo.com/todo/faqs/sync/backup

The key to remember with an iTunes backup is that iTunes only keeps one copy
of the backup. If you have iTunes configured to automatically sync when your
device is connected, iTunes will also update the backup file at the same
time. Keep in mind that this setup is a double edged sword since if you
accidentally delete Todo tasks, or remove the application all together from
the device, syncing again with iTunes will update the backup file to reflect
these changes. So restoring from that newly updated backup will not restore
your data. So please read, understand and take the suggested suggestions in
the Apple support article reference in the previous FAQ if you decide to
backup your Todo data using this method.

NOTE: When you've dealt with as many customers as we have that have
accidentally deleted Todo tasks or the Todo app and then synced with iTunes
and accidentally overwrote their iTunes backup with their device's current
state, it is hard to tell them that their data is lost at this point if they
relied solely on iTunes as their only backup mechanism for Todo task data.
Consider yourself informed and warned.

Thanks,

The Appigo Team
