First I am not a raving ToDo fanbut I used PocketInformant on the Palm for quite a while. It is a good app but certainly not perfect. The UI is very cluttered and overly complex for some. It does not lend itself to GTD as well as ToDo and a few other apps. The support is very good but you're missing the point a bit as PI would not manually sort any view sorted by Due Date and while I agree that ToDo should just not allow this, it's odd to even try this knowing that it doesn't make sense and then complain about it.
