I appreciate the comments. I just might have to pull out the gs and start
playing with it. I also use Bernie, and it is an impressive emulator. But, there
is nothing like using the real thing.
I would be interested in how you are getting online with your II's and what service and software you are using.
I have LANceGS card in the GS which connects to my router, which connects to my cable modem. Since it requires Marinetti, it can only be used with GSOS programs, so I use Spectrum with SOAR to access Syndicomm. I could do my email with SAM, but I prefer Eudora on my Mac. I can also browse the web with SIS or Arachnid, but again, I prefer Mac based browsers.
That's not to say I don't use the GS. I do all my finances on it. I read the Syndicomm message boards with it. I play games on it. It's in use every day. But I have found the Mac useful for web browsing, scanning, digital photo processing and a few other things the GS can't do or does only in a limited way.
