I was attempting to make a set of boot disks for an acquaintance with a "new" Apple //e. I pulled a "straight" Apple //e and an "enhanced" //e off the stack and set them up with a pair of 5 1/4 drives. Using both an original DOS 3.3 boot disk and a ProDOS 1.1.1 boot disk the straight //e would boot and copy disks fine. However, using the same disks on the //e (enhanced) produced a "Relocation/Configuration error" with each attempted boot.
Has anyone seen this error? If so, what does it mean?
