It's either that, or a late model non-enhanced machine that received the enhancement kit. I did have a factory enhanced model //e and it did say enhanced on it, as did one that I remember trying out at a computer store back in '86 when it was new. Gave that one to a friend, since I prefer my older //e with its better-feeling keyboard... -J //e with: 1MB RAMWorks II, Super Serial card, Franklin Z80 card, Apple Mouse //e, 2 disk ][ drives, 2 Apple 3.5 Drives (with Laser UDC), Numeric Keypad //e, Thunderclock, and, CH Products FlightStick. Machine also has a Kensington System Saver, and drives a Color Monitor //e. 3 Macs, and a PC.
>I'm pretty sure it is a //e enhanced then as i recall the boot screen does >say 'Apple //e'. Is it possible that factory built //e enhanced (this one >is a Cork-built UK model) didn't have the sticker on the LED? > >It's a later //e anyway, with the later keyboard (I think? It has begie >keys with black lettering). As I say I know jim diddly about Apple's >pre-Mac machines. I'd suspect from your information it is probably a >factory built //e Enhandec machine, if such a thing exists... > >-- >Mark Benson > >http://homepage.mac.com/markbenson > -- Apple2list is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Apple2list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/apple2.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/apple2list%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
