I recall paying big $$ when I chose an Apple ][gs over a Mac 128 (the cost
was a wash, and I had a bunch of Apple ][ software, so...

I have a bunch of external floppy drives. If you can't find one,
let me know and I will check my stack for a serviceable 800k drive.
You can have one for $5.00 plus mailing cost.
