You must be very lucky, because most of the thrift stores I frequent
either don't receive stuff that old or toss it before it hits the
shelf.

These days, the earliest vintage equipment I find is from the late
1980s (ie. 68k Macs and PCs, and the odd bit of Atari ST/Amiga
software).
