You must be very lucky, because most of the thrift stores I frequent either don't receive stuff that old or toss it before it hits the shelf.

These days, the earliest vintage equipment I find is from the late
1980s (ie. 68k Macs and PCs, and the odd bit of Atari ST/Amiga
software).



My entire Apple // collection (I have every model, plus an Apple //) came from the "AS-IS" Salvation Army store in Waukegan, Illinois, located in the worst neighborhood. I even scored a NeXT Cube there a year or so ago.
