Oh, I see. I didn't knew about it. I only saw the "Asimov" word in a context that fitted the Asimov Project, and didn't even guess that you were talking about a different thing. Anyway, it's a quite different piece of software from what I'm talking of (see bellow). > Actually, I'm a big fan of raw disk images. The named CiderPress can do almost anything with disk images (create them from scratch in different image and filesystem formats, add/rename/remove files, convert them between different image formats, read/write physicall volumes to and from disk images...). It would allow you to (for example) create standard uncompressed .do or .po images from .sdk images. It will even deal with nibblized disk images. Of course, as I said, this software is for Windows. But I'd bet my hat that there is some equivalent software for MacOS. By the way: anybody knows what software can I use on the Apple II to create a nibblized image of a copy-protected 5.25" disk? > (BTW, I don't do Windows. Apple brainwashed me a long > time ago. ;-) They also brainwashed me from 1984, when I got my first Apple. But in the last years, I have had to go to the PC side. If I want to sell the programs I make, they have to run on Windows :-( . And the best way to do that is to develop on a Windows machine and know its system in depth. I have as many Apples as PCs in my home (four of each), but I can't be as dedicated with the Apples as I'm with the PCs.
