I'm more concerned about being able to choose an application than
having an application which can do it all. If you cannot make
those choices, you tend to get locked into applications which don't
suit your needs.

There are utilities which will do some of the stuff CiderPress
does, but not all of it. To my knowledge, none of those programs
will deal with SDK images.

I used Apple II's in school, but didn't have an Apple or Mac at
home until 1997. When I had my own personal Apple, I learned to
enjoy computers again. PCs (even new Macs) don't give me that nice
feeling. An Apple II is a machine which I can understand. A modern
computer is too complex to even handle.

Perhaps it is safer to say: if I want to sell the *type of* programs
I make, they have to run on Windows. I work in a field which is
dominated by Unix. You would have a bloody hard time selling
Windows software to them. ;-)

Besides, I discarded the notion of programming a log time ago. I
have more liberty in choosing what I use, and am currently in the
process of migrating away from Mac OS X to System 7.1. Sorry, but
I cannot find all of the software I need on the Apple II. :-(
