I tried to e-mail the original poster he got back to me once and he has the RamFast card .
e-mail once more time to tell him I had SCSI zip drive and external 1 gig drive with all the cables to hook to his GS but now his E-Mail is not working and its AOL
But I can tell any other people I do have this to sell for $ 25.00 I will put it on the swap list tonight

Not true. The Zip-Drive works quite fine with the
Apple HS SCSI card

Both are correct. :) Each had its own peculiarities though. The RamFast was subject to having to use its own tools to mount/unmount partitions, lock/unlock etc. No biggie there for most people.

The biggest "problem" with the HS card was a "ghosting" of the drive
when ejecting the disk. Some had a problem with dialogue box navigation
too. YMMV.

The solution on the HS card was to use SCSI drivers from Tullin
Technologies. They were available a few years back directly from the
copyright owner. I have no idea of their availability now.

I don't think these quirks showed up on a IIe.

As others have mentions you will need to have term power supplied
somehow as the Zip 100 does not do so. I don't know if other Zip/Jazz
models do.

AFAIK There are no Apple II specific tools available to control Drive
Spin , Sleep etc like n a Mac or PC.
