Hi again; Jack, I think I didn't describe very clearly. Let me try again. I created some stuff on a 2c years ago. What I wanted to do was use an available 2gs to move stuff from the 5 1/4 floppies forward to keep them archived on my G3. The 2gs was the place I couldn't get anything to 'read' from the opposing disks simultaneously. I had an external 800 k drive that would read system 6 happily... OR I could restart the machine and read the 5 1/4 floppies that were starting up on the System master. I could go back and forth, but had / have no clue how to get them to BOTH be accessable at the same time to actually achieve the desired migration of data to the floppies. Obviously once the data is on an 800k, it should drop nicely into the floppy drive of the G3 to its final resting place. Sorry if I was 'clear as mud' last time. Hope this makes more sense than the first attempt. Don Forget Auction Fees and auction time consumed.
