Although GS/OS 6.0.1 will run in 1.25 MB, you will not have
enough memory left to even copy a floppy disk in one pass.
If 4 MB is available, it will be used by the system for such
things as copying from a SCSI CD-ROM to a hard drive. There
are many other things that make it useful, such as setting up
a 1-2 MB ramdisk and still have 2-3 MB of ram left for machine
functions. Also, my card is fully DMA compatible.

This is a very important piece of information, however he said the
SCSI card tells him to have 768K. SCSI is a very high powered system
and requires quite a bit of ram to function properly.

Upon some research, the 24 chips needed to bring the card to
a full 1 MB would cost in the realm of $17. So, for little
more than 3x that you can quadruple the ram size with my card.
Also, I will take $5 off if you'd like to trade in the 1 MB
card with 256Kx8 on it. I use them for prototyping practice.

The 1 MB card was made at a time when GS/OS was merely a desktop
interface to 8-bit programs. Not suitable for heavy usage. :o)
