Here is another way of telling IIc apart:
Type:
PRINT PEEK(64447)
...and press the RETURN key.
- 255 is an indication of the original IIc logic board. This version
cannot use a Unidisk.
- 00 or 0 is an indication the Apple IIc with a Unidisk logic board.
- 03 or 3 indicates the Apple IIc with a memory expansion card
connector.
- 04 or 4 indicates the Apple IIc with the revised memory expansion
logic board.
