As I recall, the RamKeeper was the size and shape of a classic Disk ][ drive, and plugged into the AE RamFactor (slinky-style) card. You could also hook up a 4-meg expansion to the RamFactor for as much as 5 megs of battery backed up, bootable, RAM.

It was the stuff of my dreams at the time, but I didn't want to spend as much as I would on a small car on it.

I eagerly await my CFFA card...
