We might get a portable Apple II.
I already have one: an Apple //c with a 5" TV :o) . Both can be operated from the mains or a 12 volt power source, and both fit in my backpack. I know, this isn't as compact as my 14", 2.4 kg (5.3 lbs.) PC laptop (which BTW is able to emulate an 100 Mhz Apple II), but it is quite amazing for a 21 year old machine.
