: KEGS is my prefered emulator, but it does tend to be : more difficult to use. Some people may not like that.
I find Kegs to be very difficult to use. I tend to prefer ActiveGS which is a java based IIgs emulator. Find it here under DOWNLOAD and ACTIVEGSAPP: http://www.freetoolsassociation.com/ It's called ActiveGSApp1.9 so, download it, install it, and let me know if you like it, otherwise, if you have trouble, let me know that too, I will try to help you get it going. : If you're running it on modern hardware, does it really matter? : Any way you look at it, it should be many times faster than the : original hardware. Which isn't bad seeming as most Apple II software : was designed to run on a 1 MHz through 3 MHz processor. I use AppleWIN, and have no trouble with it on anything from 200 MHz all the way to 2.09 GHz. Runs great, and the speed can be adjusted from .5 MHz all the way to I think 3.5 MHz.
