I doubt if anyone is going to GO INTO the Apple IIe world today for money. Of course many people did back in the early days. Some made $$$ and still have it, others made and lost it, a bunch of others probably "didn't care about the $$$" and are now doing other things for a living. I would argue Woz didn't do it for the money, but if computers did not pay, I'll bet Jobs would now be making a killing selling cars in Burbank.

I am moving soon, I need to reduce my collection of stuff by about 80 percent. If I have old computer stuff that has some market value I don't feel any obligation to give it away. If someone in Japan wants to pay me $200 for a "rare card" I am a happy camper. I can use the money. If anyone in the world has the $$$ to buy such a card from me and then give it away for the goodness of the Apple world that would be great. I might have brought up this thread with my Woz IIgs ROM 0 inquiry. I didn't ask about its value. I though Woz editions were all ROM 1 and wanted to know if my ROM 0 could be an "authentic" Woz, or just an example of the case top being switched.

One person here suggested it was "rare" and might have value. I personally have my doubts because as I understand it a ROM 0 is limited to early software and hardware. It would only be of interest to a collector. Would I sell it for $20? No. How much would a "collector" pay for a ROM 0? I don't know?
