    Just tried the SyQuest drive with the Apple DMA card in a IIgs.  It booted
off the fourth partition of the cartridge as soon as the IIgs was turned on. 
That is, after I remembered to go into the control panel and set the boot drive
to "scan".

    I was very disappointed to find that none of the earlier Apple SCSI cards
would even talk to the SyQuest 44 MB drive.
