Hi all...

I've just received my first Apple II. It works like a charm, despite markings on the outside casing ("Dead, not working, etc."

When I plug it into the TV and switch it on, I see "Apple IIe" at the top of the screen, and nothing else. The 5.25" disk drive (Which has a disk in it now) makes a couple clicking noises and then spins. The light doesn't come on at all, and the screen stays at the "Apple IIe" message.

What can I do to try to see if there's anything on this disk?

Also, are there any apps or games that are recommended for use on the IIe? I plan for it to be used as like an old arcade-type machine, just for fun.

Thanks a lot :-)

Ian
