As stated in the previous message [1], "q" is too overloaded to also
confirm the quit dialog.

Suggest this work-around:

Aptitude::UI::Prompt-On-Exit "false";

With this workaround, the problems mentioned and no intention to change
it, time to close after more than one decade.
