 Arachne _already_ does it.
Press the letter O on your keyboard, link to "Local settings".
About 1/2 way down the page are the "Cache settings".

 The letter K is a good one to keep in mind also.<g>

BTW, Another nice little "trick"...
In autoexec.bat have this line,
set temp=the same directory that you use for arachne's cache

Now when you press F8 to empty the cache, will also empty the temp dir.
