Someone had said that they were able to use InSight *on*line* but not
off line.

So, with the problems I've been having today, I decided to try it.

Now the reply.htp can be found and loaded,

BUT then InSight says it cannot read the cnm file!  

IOW I get to the reply screen, have the person/list I want to reply to
in the TO field, the subject from the message is in the right place, and
the line quoting the person is in the message field.

But nothing else.

It is NOT this installation of Arachne/InSight.

I went back to my previously running just fine for months s.r.c.
installation.  Off-line it couldn't load reply.htp.  

I installed a new Arachne 1.60b1 on the RAM drive.  It also was unable
to open MIME.CFG.

All the 3 installations had two things in common:

   1.  InBox DGI created the index, and updated after any deletions,
       either "right click DEL" or "trash";

   2.  When viewing the mail there were no buttons for INDEX, previous
       message, or next message.

I have NO idea what went wrong between early this morning and this
afternoon.  But I am not the cause of the problem, nor is my system.  I
can even access [shudderrrrrr] WIN3.1 and run programs, but InSight
can't open files that are there in plain sight. :<
