I seriously doubt that this can in fact be true. It may be that it's an
ActiveX script that can affect M$ Outlook, is that what you are refering
to? HTML has the same chances of transporting a virus as opening a ASCII
file in an editor (such as notepad).
I recently recieved a mail from someone on the tech staff at my university
stating that a certain e-mail virus that only affects PCs was out - I
replied that it was probably not true and that it with a 99,99% chance only
affected people that were stupid enough to use M$ Outlook despite all the
warnings that tend to come on a regular basis. I never did get a reply back
from him (I've never got any answer from the tech staff).
Besides, isn't the name for these things "worms"?
