I have had up to 390 files in the cache directory, but I run cache in
ramdisk and copy it to a storage directory on c: at end of session (set up in
a.bat so I see the number of files copied when closing down) with this setup
arachne may not get the chance to trim off the excess files. I don't know how
many arachne reports I have never counted that list, but it always seems to be
pretty full, adding new entries to the top and Throwing old ones off the bottom
(I guess). However I usually do not let the cache get that big I seem to empty
it fairly regularly for one reason or another.
