Troubles with military service

So do I.  I was lucky to do some work in an English university instead of
going to the army (the French military service was scrapped a couple of
years later).  A friend of mine from Turkey wasn't so lucky though.  He had
to abandon his PhD to go and raze villages in Kurdistan instead :-(

It will take time.  I'm currently trying to set up a web site that would
allow individuals from "enemy" countries (for example,  the UK and Serbia)
to meet accross the net.
