Hmmm....
Maybe there's some problem with your video card...
since you doesn't mention the video card you have, i
can't help so much on this...
Actually i've used arachne on trident video cards,
realtek's OAK card, avance logic cards and other VESA
compatible with no problems...
- maybe your card setting is 640x400 vga standard?
- maybe the autodetect reports you a card wich doesn't
is?? (arachne reports the avance logic cards as
trident, but the cards are VESA compatible, for
example)
- Maybe you don't setup the variable temp (or
arachnetemp better) before the installation???
The list can continue... maybe i can help you, but
you have to tell me what kind of machine are you
running arachne (proccesor type, memory, video
card..) or just experiment with all the posible
settings...
