Hi listers,
I am experiencing a consistent problem when I save an Arachne profile
(.acf) after making some change. I get the following message:
Memory allocation error - Illegal xSwap operattion at line 309 of
file ONMOUSE.C!
Trying to deaallocate xSwap...ok
Press any key to continue . . .
Pressing any key restarts Arachne with the dreaded 3 skulls error
page. I exited Arachne and started Pegasus Mail for DOS to report
the problem. It must have really messed my machine's memory because I
could not access my address book (F3) or the special recently used
address feature (F5). I quit, rebooted and everything is copasetic
again. Very strange. I am not sure if this is a problem with
1.6b1, 1.6b2 and/or 1.60SR as I have not used the profile feature
since I left Compuserve early last year. I am again using it for my
local ISP and Freewwweb accounts. Anybody else experience this?
Regards,
Dale Mentzer
I started out with nothing...I still have most of it.
