Matt,
When you get the gibberish, press F7 or <ALT-P> again.
Alternately, set your login script to repeat what you manually typed in and
use auto login. (That has worked for me.) Remove all the hyphens from
unused items.

I am in the midst of trying to straighten it out with them.
But, here is what happens:
MINITERM executes
following messages appear:
ATZ OK
DIALING 7394982 Press <Esc> to Abort
ATDT7394982
CONNECT 2400
Terminal Mode Press <ALT+P> or <F7> to exit and try PPP (SLIP)
So I press F7, and it says:
Leaving MINITERM and trying SLIP/PPP
then the modem gibberish
Then it says PPP link is down driver not installed
Then Arachne starts and the status bar says NO PACKET DRIVER FOUND
then it loads the page that is attached.
Am I missing a driver of some kind? I don't know what is all on this
computer.<<
