It sounds like a problem with the path to the mail directory. I
notice your error message is "MAIIL\$IDX$tbs.IDX". Shouldn't that be
"MAIL\$IDX$tbs.IDX", assuming your mail directory is the default
"MAIL\" or is this a typo? Recheck your paths in the OPTIONS pages.
