I think you are (inadvertently) using PAP/CHAP login. In the settup
did you enter info for PAP/CHAP (i.e. User name and password)?

I doubt it. I merely copied the ARACHNE.CFG that I was using for Compuserve
to CS.ACF and FW.ACF and then modified FW.ACF for Freewwweb. (Why take the
chance of messing up when something is working?) I don't like using SETUP
programs any more than I absolutely have to and prefer to modify .CFG and
.INI files using a text editor.
