I have been trying to connect Arachne in a DOS window in Win95 using
a winmodem at 56 kbs and have been so far unsuccessful.
Somebody else is running Arachne with a winmodem ?
I wonder what ever happened with stub32 which allowed to run Arachne
with a winsock.
So far I have been able to run Arachne inside a DOS window with 14,4,
28.8 and 33.6 kbs with no noticeable decrease in speed with respect
to running is at the DOS prompt only in W95 on a 486 DX2 66 with 8 mb.
I have been running v1.6b2 for one week satisfactorily except
it locks at www.bcp.com.br/alo facil
It requires macromedia plug-in but Arachne shouldn't lock.
