Clarence,
You didn't read what I said! If we have to type in e-mail address for
forwarding, CCs, etc ...
Right now all the address list is *any* good for is composing from
scratch. You want to send a cc? Tough! Go to the hotlist, find the
e-dress, write it down, got back to message, start all over. Want to
forward a message? Tough! Go to hotlist, find the e-dress, write it
down, go back to InBox, find the message, hit "forward," delete the old
address in the "to" field, copy forwarding address from piece of paper.
Even if you manage it your way with clipboard, you can only get ONE
e-mail address carried to mail from hotlist. If you leave the mail
editor, it will be blank when you get back. Start from scratch ...
I begged Michael to make a separate address book, since he already had
all the code he needed to do it ... just rearrange a bit. He didn't
want to be bothered. So we have what is essentially a worthless address
book for anything other than "cold mail" that's not in response to
anything. At least with Net-T you had the *full* message in your editor
and could put in the CCs or BCs "by hand."
I'm tired. I'm about ready to delete 300 messages because I simply
cannot get them all read with the daily mail flow I need to deal with,
and still keep track of problems that occur with Arachne, or good things
I find.
I want to know how anyone who has a job, or school, can *possibly* keep
up with all this??
l.d.
