I do not think so since my p:\bc directory is ca 20M B and then I got many

IMHO DJGPP is the best alternative, especially since you then can (more or
less easy) port Linux programs to DOS (it requires a 386).

With "honest" I assume you mean ANSI. There are a few (two IIRC) functions
that need to be added (as macros) if you want to compile under an ANSI
compiler.
