Actually, there is no Perl port for DOS. You have to use patched OS/2 port.
Size of distro 2 369 041 bytes. After repacking it take near 5-6 MB.
Not much as for me. BTW it work only with 386+.
But i can't understand what do you mean when say "Internet functionality".
Writing CGI scripts for DOS not possible ABSOLUTELY.
For running CGI you need http server. But it is not possible to run http
server under singletasking DOS. For this purposes was developed DGI.
And DGI work perfectly with Dos port of Perl.
