Thanks for your input. Yes - I well remember the "going to
sleep" throughout various versions, but I haven't seen it for
two or three. This problem has a different FEEL to it from the
older "sleeping" versions. They could usually be returned from
slumber by jiggling the mouse in a certain way or clicking on
reload, but this is different - not so much sleeping as
terminal.... It always goes wrong in exactly the same way at
exactly the same point, so I doubt whether it's to do with
server/network traffic problems.
Glenn has pointed out that it's to do with Javascript. You
probably saw his message and my comment about Arachne's worsening
tolerance to J.S. I wouldn't have thought that teaching Arachne to
ignore J.S. safely was exactly rocket science - and I'm obviously
not the first to have said that! Oh well....
