I don't quite understand what you mean. I never proposed changing the history
list. Just CREATING an extended url is all that is needed to SAVE those fields
since the history list is a list of visited URLs.
If you go to compose by "C" then all the fields are blank (except the message
if you haven't saved it yet. To re-load these fields in this case, you must
"ESC" and either use the history list directly, or indirectly by repeated ESC
or cntrlARROW or whatever back/forward method you use, until you find the
extended URL and then it will fill in the To, Cc and Subj fields for you.
Maybe this is what you mean ? (going to compose by "C" ?)
