Hmmmm?

Perfect!!

In the case of mail compose, not much problem - just wish it was deleted.

Hi Glenn;

In my experiment of April 4, I thought I found that the F4 function did NOT
use TEXTAREA.tmp - at least when editing sendmail.ah, but after a new trial
I now see that it wasn't used because I had SAVED my work. <g>

It seems a bit strange to me that text in the compose window is saved in
TEXTAREA.tmp but not re-loaded. It also seems strange that text (HTML)
loaded from disk by F4 is saved in TEXTAREA.tmp only when it is NOT saved
by F2. Since the user apparantly does not want to save any edits at this
time, why bother to save ANYTHING in TEXTAREA.tmp. The window can easily
be reloaded from the original source if the user comes back.

What I'm trying to say here is that there IS a need to save mail in the
unfinished process of composition (where you have NO copy other than in
TEXTAREA.tmp), and there is NO need to save an unedited copy of HTML that
just popped up because you hit F4 instead of F6. (because there is always
the original to come back to)

Re: The Hotlist manager. I never thought of trying that.
But in my case, at least, I would delete the Hotlist manager button.
That's awful ! It looks like an air conditioner with all those slots. <g>

I don't see what it is really useful for either.
You can add URLs to the hotlist by highlighting them and hitting "A".
You can highlight URLs in the hotlist too.
Why can't you delete them by hitting "delete" ?
Michael ?

Or just use F4 and edit until you are happy.
We can save about 20kb by dumping the Hotlist Manager.<g>
