Dear List:      I got my ISP now and got on the web using BOOTP
protocol.Many thanks to you and the others for your suggestions on the
memoryconfig.  I tried to use Smartdrv.exe to cache the host/physical
drive likeyou suggested but it either wouldn't load in my autoexec.bat or
I had someproblem or other with using it in the config.sys.  I like
mostly conservativesettings in my startup files but made a few changes
and the results wereinteresting.  It seems that the "Umb" turns out to be
106! from a cold boot,but keeps changing as I use it.  It doesn't seem to
go below 64 so I feel likeI have a good system to surf and send mail
