Bastiaan,

Unless Glenn sent you a private e-mail, he did not suggest anything in
quotes. What he did suggest was that you remove the hyphens in the waitfor,
response portions of the log in script. (NOTE TO MICHAEL P: These should be
removed from the .ACF files provided with Arachne!!)

Until you automate login, the [dialer] portion of your ARACHNE.CFG file
should look like:

================================================

[dialer]
DialPage file:ppp_init.htm
Dialer @MINITERM.EXE>PPP.LOG
TerminalWindow @MINITERM.EXE
UseTerminal Yes
Port 2
Irq 3
Base Default
Mode 8N1
Speed 38400
InitString ATZ
DialString ATDT
PhoneNumber 0513658505
;Autologin gewijzigd van No naar Yes...FFZ
Autologin No
WaitFor1
Response1
WaitFor2
Response2
WaitFor3
Response3
WaitFor4
Response4
PPPusername yourusername
PPPpassword  yourpassword

=================================================

To hang up without ESQing to DOS, type <ALT-H>. However, if Arachne crashes
to DOS, then you would have to use Arachne -u.

One thing that I have found is that manually entering the login procedure
works only up to a certain point. Then if I put the appropriate terms in the
login script and change "Autologin" to "Yes" the login will work perfectly.

Hope this helps.
