I suppose most ISPs would be stumped if asked whether they had real BOOTP.

Is your main WATTCP.CFG made to UKA_PPP's specific needs, or is it the same
WATTCP.CFG that might be created with the DOSPPPD package, using EPPPD and CHAT?
I can run the UKA_PPP x_*.exe programs with TCPPORT from DOS or COMTCP when
connecting from OS/2 Warp 4. COMTCP.EXE is part of the OS/2 Warp 4 package, not
part of UKA_PPP. OS/2 port of Unix-native popclient is much nicer for
downloading mail than UKA_PPP x_popn.exe. I never tried to run Arachne from
OS/2 connection with COMTCP, would not be optimistic about the possibility.
